WHAT:
NYU Langone Medical Center will be holding an evening of
cocktails and casino games that will also include a silent
auction, a New York Rangers Jersey signed by the team, a VIP
set visit to Golden Globe winning drama The
Affair, dinner in your home cooked by the Executive Chef
from Rao’s, a baseball clinic for kids with NY Yankee
legendary pitcher Mariano Rivera, and a three-night vacation
on the Ferragamo family estate in Tuscany, Italy, and food
from a buffet to benefit the Stephen D. Hassenfeld
Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and the
Department of Pediatrics at NYU Langone.
The Hassenfeld and KiDS of NYU
Langone committees are groups dedicated to improving the
lives of children treated at NYU Langone Medical Center.
Proceeds from the 2015 Adults in Toyland Casino Night will
provide integral funding for the Stephen D. Hassenfeld
Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and the
Department of Pediatrics. This includes interim
patient/family housing, bilingual child life therapy, and
music and recreational therapy — as well as pilot research
that can potentially improve patient care and outcomes for
years to come.
