The Second Biannual Navy
SEAL Evening of Tribute
(Palm Beach, FL--) Leading
the charge for the Second Biannual Navy
SEAL Evening of Tribute are Chairman Rebecca
Williams, and Co-chairmen, Margery
McCloskey and Jane
Woodman, and their committee. The Navy
SEALs and their families will be honored at the upcoming Navy
SEAL Evening of Tribute, on
March 30th at
Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, with and proceeds to benefit the
Navy SEAL Foundation and Navy SEAL Museum/Memorial/Trident
House.
Anticipation is building for the patriotic
evening that will feature appearances by honored
military guests, including retired Vice
Admiral Robert S. Harward, who
will be a featured speaker. Harward
served in both East and West coast SEAL teams, and served as
deputy commander U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) in Tampa.
FL.
A very special highlight will be an appearance
and talk given by Jessica
Buchanan, a humanitarian aid
worker who, at 32 years old, was kidnapped in 2011 by Somali
pirates, and held in filthy conditions, starved and
terrorized for three months while her health steadily
deteriorated. Her devoted husband worked tirelessly to
bring her home, and after 93 days of fruitless negotiation, President
Barack Obama ordered
Navy SEAL Team Six to attempt, what resulted in, a
successful rescue operation. Buchanan,
who told her story in a New
York Times best-seller
called "Impossible
Odds,"currently lives with her
husband and son in Washington DC where they continue their
humanitarian work.

About the Navy SEAL
Foundation:
The Navy SEAL’s Foundation’s mission is to provide immediate
and ongoing assistance to the Naval Special Warfare
community and their families. Our
work is focused on five pillars: warrior support and family
services, educational opportunities, tragedy assistance,
survivor support and legacy preservation. These
programs are designed to strengthen the force and family,
promote resiliency, provide comfort in times of adversity or
loss, provide care for our wounded and their caregivers, and
help veterans transition as their military service comes to
an end. www.navySEALfoundation.org
