Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing
Stomach Cancer (DDF) is excited to
announce its 9th Annual Night of
Laughter will be taking place on Sunday,
January 28, 2018 at Signature Grand in
Davie, Florida. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.,
and the show begins promptly at 7:00
p.m. The evening will feature hilarious
comedy, a raffle with fantastic prizes,
delicious drinks, and food. All proceeds
will help fund research initiatives in
hopes of finding a cure for stomach
cancer.
The night wouldn't be possible without
the leadership of Co-Chairs Sheri
Albert, Mitch Starr, Dr. Stephanie
Davis, and the assistance of their
amazing committee. Special recognition
is also given the National Title Sponsor
Lilly Oncology for their generosity and
continued support. Sheri Albert, who is
leading the event for the 8th year in a
row, has helped raise over $250,000
through this event to aid research
efforts for stomach cancer.
"Being a part of this event means more
to me now than ever before," said
Albert, who was recently diagnosed with
invasive breast cancer. "Even though I
have my own battle to fight, knowing
that stomach cancer receives the least
federal funding per cancer death of any
cancer inspires me to fight harder to
help find a cure. We may not be there
yet, but I think that we can all agree
that laughter is the best medicine."
Tickets are $75 and include a buffet
dinner, 2 soft drinks, 2 raffle tickets,
and a comedy show. Sponsorship
opportunities are available and include
reserved seating along with many other
perks. For more information about the
event, to place an ad/tribute in the
program book, to become a sponsor, or to

About Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing
Stomach Cancer
Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing
Stomach Cancer (DDF) is a 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization dedicated to
raising awareness about gastric cancer,
advancing funding for research, and
providing education and support
internationally to patients, families,
and caregivers. Debbie's Dream
Foundation seeks as its ultimate goal to
make the cure for stomach cancer a
reality.
DDF was founded in 2009 by Debbie Zelman

incurable gastric cancer in 2008 and
given only weeks to live. DDF now has a
Scientific and Medical Advisory Board of
world renowned doctors and chapters
throughout the United States and in
Canada and Germany. Considered a "Super

chemotherapy almost 9 ½ years later and
is thrilled to be able to watch her
three children grow up. To learn more
