American Heart Association Heart Health
Symposium & Wellness Fair Announced
Long Island, NY, April 23, 2018 – The American
Heart Association is pleased to announce that
they will be hosting a Heart Health Symposium
and Wellness Fair on Saturday, May 19th at
the Southampton Arts Center in Southampton, NY.
Guests in attendance will be able to hear from a
panel of speakers including; Michael J. Wolk,
MD, MACC Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian
& Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill
Cornell Medicine, Past-President of the American
College of Cardiology “Prevent Cardiovascular,
Aspostolos K. Tassiopoulos, MD Professor of
Surgery Vice Chair for Quality and Outcomes
Chief, Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at
Stony Brook University Hospital Director,
Endovascular Surgery at Southampton Stony Brook
Hospital Director Stony Brook Vascular Center
and Jeffrey W. Moses, MD Professor of Medicine
at CUMC Director, Interventional Cardiovascular
Therapeutics New York Presbyterian/Columbia
University Medical Center.
Wellness Fair will include Blood Pressure
screening, CPR demo, nutrition and fitness
consultation. Southampton Hospital Cardiac Rehab
& Wellness Center will be on site with
information and for consult. Vascular screenings
will also be available, pre-registration is
