11 Days of Global Unity
starts on September 11
(as it was founded after 9/11, the day the
Twin Towers
came down in New York),
and it culminates on the
International Day of Peace on September 21.
When you participate in the
11 Days of Global Unity,
you'll embark on a positive journey of the heart that will reignite your
faith in our human capacity to recover from
tragedy.
Whether you were impacted by 9/11 or another global crisis,
for 11 Days you'll celebrate our resilience as you hear from thought
leaders on themes that unite us all.
You'll be inspired by what is emerging in
each topic area,
and ignite your passion and participation in
a way that is
personally fulfilling and meaningful for
you.

WE, the World is a global coalition-building
non-profit organization based in New York City.
Founded in 1998 by Rick Ulfik, WE, the World
annually connects and promotes thousands of socially
conscious organizations and businesses, representing
millions of people, to amplify their efforts and
generate public awareness and action for peace,
justice, sustainability
and transformation.
Advisors and Supporters include Archbishop Desmond
Tutu, Jane Goodall, Deepak Chopra, Marianne
Williamson, Bill McKibben, Immaculee Ilibagiza,

a Global Network to Eliminate Nuclear Weapons. We have Co-Sponsored many
conferences, Teleseminars, Forums and Campaigns
to end the threat of Nuclear Weapons.
As part of our Disarmament
Campaign we are working closely with WE, the
World Advisory Board Member and Nobel Peace Prize
Nominee Jonathan Granoff and the Global
Security Institute,
as well as many other groups, raising consciousness
and taking action to abolish Nuclear Weapons for a
Livable Future.

PEACE WEEK INVITATION
September 21st, 2022
is the 40th anniversary
of the first celebration of
the International Day of Peace (IDP)
in 1982.
Since 2001, September 21st has been set as the permanent
date of this important global initiative.
Peace Week embraces all the Peace events in September with Wednesday,
September 21st, being the very heart of the week.
September every year includes the
UN High Level Forum on the Culture of Peace,
the 11 Days of Global Unity from September 11 -21
and literally countless events around the world, all orientated around
“Peace Day”
– the IDP.
Peace Week 2022
is a unifying initiative that celebrates and amplifies the
many voices and actions that are happening around the
International Day of Peace on September 21st.
This initiative is co-convened by a growing community of
international organizations, grassroots leaders and global
networks.
This is a time of momentous action, as we unite and rise to
give voice to how we are collectively creating the
conditions for a global culture
of lasting peace.

offers a space where
“We Can All Bring Our Peace”
into a unified field of intention and action for a world
that works for all. This initiative offers diverse
opportunities for unifying the many inspiring efforts that
are building momentum of people-powered peacebuilding.

99 Days of Peace through
Unity
is a clarion call out to all individuals,
groups, networks, platforms, initiatives and institutions
dedicated to unity, peace and whole-system health to join
forces to explore what we can achieve together when we focus
our collective energy on a shared vision and purpose.
A Thriving
World for All of Life
The
purpose of the platform is to offer the community
a shared open space to self-organize over the 99 Days in service of
Peace
through Unity towards a Thriving World for All of Life.
