September 11th,
2016 at NYU
Medical
Center due
to
complications
from cancer.
Co-Founder
and
Principal of
Alchimia
Public
Relations &
Marketing,
John
survived his
business and
life partner
Edward
Callaghan
who died in
April 2015.
The firm was
best known
for working
with fine
artists, art
galleries
and art
festivals.
John was
born in
Toronto on
July 25,
1950. He
attended
York
University
and began
his career
in sales,
transitioning
into
high-end
jewelry and
watch
design,
which
brought him
to
Manhattan.
He is
survived by
his mother
Mary and his
sisters
Kristine,
Rozia and
Maria, as
well as his
daughter
Alicia, her
husband
Adam, and
many
hundreds of
friends and
associates
that dearly
loved
“Johnny.”

held
