Everyone has stories and memories ... whether it is of Sylvia salsa dancing till 4:00 am in Costa Rica, saying bon voyage to a friend on a cruise ship and then setting sail with her, climbing mountains at a spa in Vermont or in Big Sur, CA, snorkeling in the Caribbean,
exploring China in her red refrigerator coat in the early 1970s, driving all across the country at 20 years old to follow our dad at the different air force bases where he was stationed, and befriending people all over the world and nurturing those friendships
forever...this is the woman who raised her children with the mantra,
"if you don't have something nice to say about someone,
don't say anything".

There are few things she wouldn't try; there was no party she wouldn't attend, no outfit she wouldn't accessorize, no hat she wouldn't embellish and then model with great flare, no costume she wouldn't wear, no beach she wouldn't walk, no country she wouldn't explore,
no dance she wouldn't do.
