Our Black Tie Gala Fashion Shows, Wine Tasting and Charity
Event occurred during 2023 FASHION WEEK were all stupendous
successes.
We had 3 fabulous Designers starting with
Mayett Codoy from Norway,
Beverly Olivacce originally from London,
and Valda Rainey originally from Latvia.
These 3 Designers put on super fabulous fashion shows,
became the talk of the town, including in other parts of the
world. Our guests looked great in their cocktail dresses
and evening gowns and the men were dressed in their best
Black-Tie attire and Business suits. Everyone looked so
sharp and happy to be there, mingling with the beautiful
ladies, and models and celebrities and members of the Press.
Sipping delicious wines that came from different parts of
the world,
and Vodka provided is handcrafted in the USA.
This event was attended by the who's who of New York and of
course, our Socialite of New York City including
International Guests from Dubai: Shereen Sabhnam Dubai
Editor in Chief, International Entrepreneur Robert Lester
from Vienna, Austria and Dubai, Jenneffer Khan and her
husband from Switzerland, and more countries were
represented, and several Broadway Celebrities: Quinn Lemley
who plays Rita Hayward on Broadway.
Our Sports Illustrated runner-up model: Britney Nichols as a
Celebrity Guest also modeled in the fashion show wearing an
Abaka Natural Fiber evening gown.
Abaka fabrics clothes designed and made by Fashion Designer
Mayett Codoy of Norway, who is originally from the
Philippines used the Natural Fiber supplied by International
Entrepreneur Celia Concepcion called Abaka,
which is a plant that looks like a banana tree, but only
smaller. They used the bulk for making ropes and baskets,
then they discovered a way how to make this strong fiber
into special fabric. A little bit expensive because the
process is very pricey. But the fabrics are beautiful when
they are finished and when made into cocktail dresses or
evening gowns. The big design house in Milan used this
special Fabric. The juice from the bark is medicinal, made
into a soap because the enzyme from the juice of Abaka is
anti-aging for your skin, and also cures eczema according to
the scientist who made the formula.

Our Guest Artist: "Taty" Tatyana Horoshko Gegera
is an American Ukranian artist. Her classic education
started at Academy of Fine Arts named by famous National
poet name T. Shevchenko in Kiev, Ukraine. She, with her
parents and sister moved out from Soviet Ukraine and ended
up in Europe where she continues to study find arts. Taty
painted portraits in Italy and Austria, and established
herself very well and has collectors from all over the
world. Upon moving to New York City, she studied Fashion
Design and Illustration at Parsons School of Designs and New
School for Social Research where she gained her BFA. Taty
had created art for Dior, scarves, and art for Nordstrom &
Ralph Lauren, and so many other brands. She lives with her
husband Sasha Alexander Gegera and daughter Renee.
