hosted an evening to
benefit
Children of Chernobyl
(CCOC) at the
Westhampton Estate of
Tobi Rubenstein-Schneier.
The
invitation-only inaugural
party was presented by
trend-setting fashionistas
Tobi Rubenstein-Schneier
and Anait Kildaze
along with Rabbi Marc
Schneier. The evening
featured a full fashion show
by world-renowned designer
Loris Diran that
included demi-couture items
from his ‘High Summer 2009’
as well as a few sneak peeks
of his upcoming Spring 2010
runway presentation for
September’s New York Fashion
Week.
Adorning the couture models
were exquisite Rina Limor
jewelry designs, musical
entertainment provided by
the world-renowned string
quartet headed by Boris
Strulev and an art show
highlighting new talent such
as Anton Kandinsky
and Laurance Rassin.
Guests including Carol
Alt, Ken Sunshine, and
Janna Bullock found
something to his or her
liking during the cocktail
party.
The hand-picked crowd
included Marina and
Michael Levitis, Esti
Herman, Patrick McMullan, R.
Couri Hay and Martin
Greenfield; who all
enjoyed a
menu paired with top-shelf
vodka bellinis prepared by
Michael Levitis,
celebrated owner of the
world-renowned Rasputin
Restaurant. Spearheaded by
Kila Enterprises, the
Sunday soiree raised funds
and spirits for the CCOC.
Children of Chernobyl (CCOC),
the only not-for-profit
organization in the world
that permanently evacuates
and treats sick children
from the devastated
Chernobyl region. Steven
Spielberg, Heidi Klum,
Michael Douglas, James
Gandolfini, Edie Falco, Jon
Voight, Kiefer Sutherland,
and Jeremy
Piven are a few of the
many celebrity supporters
who have attended past CCOC
benefit galas. To date, the
charity has rescued 2,628
children on 86 rescue
flights—four in the last
