Beach Gardens, FL (March 13, 2008) – The
Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary held
their 20th Annual Hearts of
Gold Luncheon and Fashion Show at
Frenchman’s Reserve on March 13th. The
event drew in 130 people for the
luncheon, silent auction and designer
fashion show by Rose Meyerowich. The
luncheon netted $43,379 to support the
many programs in the community provided
by The Salvation Army.
The event chairwoman was Rosemary
Lambros. Honorees included Mrs. Ruth
Leigh, Mr. Donald Lewis, Mr. Andrew
Smith and Mr. Ronald Warner, all
recognized for their outstanding support
of The Salvation Army. Sponsors and
Underwriters for the event include; Mr.
and Mrs. Lawrence DeGeorge, Silvester
Foundation, Inc., Ms. Lois Edwards, The
Church Mouse, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lewis,
Palm Beach Prayer Group, Ms. Helen

thousands of men, women and children
while serving the Palm Beaches since
