(Palm
Beach, FL) Nearly 200 of Palm Beach’s young
philanthropists gathered for FoundCare’s POP! Party On
the Plaza on Sunday, May 3. Set under the stars in a
clear tent at Royal Poinciana Plaza, FoundCare guests
enjoyed dancing, dessert and cocktails courtesy of
beverage sponsor, Barcardi USA. The evening ended with
a POP! as fireworks across the waterway lit up the sky.
Thanks to the
generous support of grand benefactor Tricia Quick, every
dollar raised benefited FoundCare’s fundraising efforts
for the new Community Health Center -- a “one-stop shop”
offering primary care and preventive services including
medical diagnosis and treatment.
“We
had a fabulous evening with many wonderful friends,”
said Steven Stolman, director of development for
FoundCare. “It was great to see such support of our
efforts at the new Community Health Center. Our team is
now seeing patients five days a week; uninsured and
underinsured patients are receiving quality care with
fees based on their ability to pay. No one is turned
away.”
Co-chairmen for the inaugural event were Andrea and
Brian Kosoy, John Tatooles and Victor Moore, Elisabeth
and Adam Munder, and Sara Groff and Piper Quinn.
