(WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.) – Caron
Renaissance Gala chairwoman, Petra Levin,
hosted the 2010 gala committee members
recently at a breakfast reception to discuss
plans for the upcoming benefit event. In
honor of the gala’s fifth-year milestone,
Grammy Award-winning vocalist, Jon Secada
will headline a concert on Friday, February
26, 2010 at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm
Beach to benefit the Lifesaver Scholarship
Fund at Caron Renaissance.
The
Friday evening gala will feature a poolside
reception, followed by a concert performance
by Jon Secada in the Grand Ballroom.
Special VIP tickets will be offered for a
more exclusive experience and opportunity to
meet Secada and other celebrities at a
private VIP reception. Guests can enter to
win a chance to take home an exquisite piece
of jewelry from Cartier Palm Beach, with all
proceeds benefiting Caron’s Lifesaver
Scholarship fund.
“In
honor of the Caron Renaissance Gala's fifth
anniversary milestone, we are changing our
format this year and introducing an exciting
concert by Jon Secada,” said Mrs. Levin.
“This committee is enthusiastic about making
the Gala a memorable evening, and continuing
to raise awareness about the mission of
Caron Renaissance in the community. The
Lifesaver Scholarship Fund at Caron
Renaissance provides financial assistance to
families who might not otherwise be able to
afford treatment at the renowned facility,
and given the fact that this year Caron
Renaissance is celebrating its 20th
anniversary, it makes it even more special.”
