2010 - The New York Young Republican Club's 7th
Annual Reagan Awards Dinner, was held on Wednesday, February
17th at the Women’s National Republican Club in
New York City. Every year the New York Young Republican Club
honors the memory of the 40th President of the
United States, Ronald Reagan.
The event generally takes place right around President
Reagan’s birthday February 6th. Three of four
possible awards are granted: The Peace Through Strength
Award, The Great Communicator Award, The Four Pillars of
Freedom Award and The Shining City on a Hill Award. Previous
recipients include: Peter King, Herbert London, Curtis
Sliwa, Star Parker, Bret Schundler and Roy Innis to name
a few.
The 7th Annual Reagan Awards Dinner was an
evening filled with live music, some great speakers and a
fabulous dinner.
The MC for the night was Joel Mowbray,
award winning and nationally syndicated journalist
