This year's Fine Craft Show opened to the public on Friday,
March 5 at the Palm Beach Convention Center.  Weekend Events included guest speakers each day beginning with experts
Gil Walsh and Rafael Rodriguez.

To an audience of more than 60 people Gil Walsh (ASID) of Gil Walsh Interiors, and Rafael Rodriguez (AIA) of RAR Architect, Inc. addressed the issue of "Selecting and Displaying Art Objects in Your Home." 

Using images of architectural renderings and room settings, Gil and Rafael presented a fascinating dialogue on the ways architects and interior designers should work together with the client in creating an environment beneficial to showcasing, and preserving, art objects. They demonstrated how architectural elements such as handcrafted fireplaces; wall and/or room dividers; strategically placed niches; and, ironworks staircases and doorways add interesting dimensions to the overall interior design concept while employing these time honored traditional crafts to highlight your fine art collections.
