The Beach Club was the scene for
The Sand Castle Ball to benefit the Mary Alice Fortin Center of Opportunity, Inc., February 27.
An an immense success the event was held in honor of Greg and Carole Lembo, former Board member and Chairmen for three successive annual galas, which raised over $350,000 for Opportunity, Inc. Carole addressed guests speaking to the necessity of Opportunity's mission in providing early education and child care to low income working families.
Ed and Meredith Michener were Grand Benefactors for their third year and were joined by their daughter Meredith Finch, an avid volunteer at Opportunity.
Beatty and Dolph Cramer and Laura and Stephen Warner co chaired the event.

Jim Accursio was auctioneer for the live auction which included Travel destinations to Paris, Coco Point Lodge on the Caribbean Island of Barbuda, and a dinner cruise for 8 on the 120 foot yacht of Dr. Nancy Heatley.
