More than 900 people attended Stamford
Hospital’s sixth annual
Dream Ball on Saturday, November 6.
Grammy-Award winner and music legend Paul
Simon
treated attendees to a two-man acoustical
session of songs from his musical past and
present.
The event featured a Giving Tree and a
silent auction. Attendees also had the
opportunity to bid in a live auction for two
Martin guitars autographed by Paul Simon.
The two winning bids of $13,500 each were
placed by the Master of Ceremonies Bobby
Valentine of Stamford and by Clo and Charles
Cohen of New York City.
Proceeds from the gala fundraiser support
Stamford Hospital’s mission to provide
quality healthcare to the region. The event
took place at Stamford Hospital’s Tully
Health Center in Stamford.
