THE COMMON GOOD is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization that encourages civil discussion and effective participation by bringing together leading political, business, media and entertainment figures on pressing issues of the day. Participation is by invitation only.THE COMMON GOOD seeks to:
1. Encourage national debate and support the free exchange of ideas
2. Promote active participation in the democratic and elective process
3. Ensure freedom of press and speech and promote creative freedom
4. Support tolerance for differing points of view
5. Challenge our leaders and hold them accountable
6. Seek new ideas
7. Encourage resolution of problems by finding common ground
8. Advocate for issues of reform and good government
9. Educate and empower its members on issues of public importance
