Well-wishers around the globe can join in the
celebrations via the internet at this week’s royal
wedding between the Principality of Monaco’s
Prince Albert and Miss Charlène Wittstock,
who are hosting two days of glamorous festivities including an historic
live international concert by Jean Michel
Jarre from Monaco's landmark
Port Hercules.
Billed as
the world’s biggest concert, this high-tech visual
extravaganza atop a 650 foot-long stage will be
synchronized to Jean Michel Jarre’s music and
includes state-of-the-art light and HD video effects
featuring lasers and pyrotechnics. The performance
will be filmed in HD by 18 cameras for live feeds on
Euronews and via Ustream online. Broadcast of the
two-hour show begins at approx. 3:00pm EST (USA).

On July 2,
the royal couple’s religious wedding ceremony, which
starts at 11:00am EST will be screened live online
at www.palais.mc
and will also follow the procession of the
newly-weds to the church of Saint Devote (the patron
saint of Monaco) where the bride will leave her
bouquet, fulfilling a long-held tradition.
