"Masterpieces
of Orientalist Art:
The Shafik Gabr Collection."
Maastricht,
Netherlands. The great Egyptian industrialist and collector
Shafik Gabr attended The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF) in
Maastricht last week for a preview of his new book
"Masterpieces of Orientalist Art: The Shafik Gabr
Collection." Mr. Gabr’s celebration began with cocktails at
the Derek Johns Ltd. Booth, who is a dealer in old master
painting. Guests were then taken to a private dinner and
firework at the 17 century Chateau Neercanne.

The wines included:

The evening was
very fitting for his book, which stresses the importance of
global cultural combination, his guest can from six
different continents. His book will be in bookstores this
fall.
