Spring!
And what better way to celebrate then to
have
a little fling –
Elite Professional Networking style!
Yes, we
partied! The 2012 Red Carpet
Networking’s Spring Celebration was
another wonderful event! Overlooking the
East River and the United Nation, the
Trump Tower World Bar was our special
venue. Hosted by Elite Professional
Networking Group, along with Black Tie
International Magazine, Giorgio G
Cognac (by famous designer Giorgio
Gucci), Emperors Vodka and AR-1Supercar,
an amazing number of guests were in
attendance. In fact, the place was so
packed we had to send some of our
partygoers upstairs to the mezzanine! A
special shout out and welcome to the
group from the United Nations, headed by
Eva Jansen of the Staff Development
Office of DM/OHRM.
This
event had an A-List of successful
professionals from all walks of life:
our Elite Professionals, together with
diplomats, royals, designers, models,
singers, the press, movie moguls,
entrepreneurs, and of course, the
friends of Black Tie International
Magazine.
We were very lucky again to have the
presence of award winning producer,
director and writer Dean Love (who
produced Life in Mars, Queen Elizabeth I
- The Virgin Queen
and many others).
Just back from filming in China
and Singapore, Dean found time in his
busy schedule to join us for the
evening. Always personable,
accommodating and friendly - everybody
was happy to see Dean. Having just
finished editing two movies, he will
continue to film the New York themed
television show titled "THERE." The
title is reflects the popular musical
score everyone knows
"If you can make it here…"
Our honored veteran was Army Corporal
Nicholas Calabris, who served in both
Iraq and Afghanistan. His graceful and
lovely wife Jamie Calabris accompanied
him and both were thrilled to be our
special guests. Kudos to Tony
NTellas, manager and alumni of the
Wounded Warrior Project. Tony is doing
an outstanding job seeing that our
service men and women receive the
recognition they deserve for their
unselfish service to our nation. Our
special Award of Appreciation to
Serviceman Calabris was presented by
Mark Jaffe, President of the Greater New
York Chamber of Commerce, Latin
celebrity Karen Hoyos, President of
Karen Hoyos International, Bill Lanndis,
actor and movie director of T2
Entertainment, and Neal Johnson the
brother of the Reverend David Johnson.
Let’s help our returning veterans by
hiring them whenever possible. Remember
- they and their families have made
great sacrifices for our country and
they deserve our careful consideration
for both jobs and advancement. If you

The talented singer and songwriter
Harold Allen, just back from another
successful tour, provided the evening’s
entertainment. He played a series of
delightful songs that kept everyone
smiling. Harold is a wonderful artist
that you simply want to be around. When
he is not wowing the crowds with his
original tunes, Harold teaches the finer
points of the guitar. So if any of
you are interested in lessons and want to
hire him, let us know so we can give you
his contact information.
We
celebrated four April birthday’s at our
“Spring Fling” - Jim Swiger, Managing
Director "Enviroglobal Solutions,” Dean
Love, Reverend David Johnson, former
Congressional candidate, and singer
Harold Allen. (Harold’s birthday is on
May 5, but since we won't have our next
event till May 15 so we included him in
the festivities.) And of course, each
of our “birthday babies” got to blow out
the candles on the cake while the crowd
sang a rollicking version of Happy
Birthday. If your birthday is coming
up, let us know. We’d be happy to help
celebrate your special day!

Disorder. The charity event will

Dr. Henry Grayson, PH.D and SFTT Chair
Eilhys England Hackworth, and special
host Storm N. Norman
of WEBE 108FM.
There will be a cocktail reception, a
silent and live auction, and the showing
of the
AR-1 Supercar - a half million
dollar limited production luxury race
car only 50 worldwide. Make sure not to
miss this event to support our troops.
And this will be a once-in-lifetime
