Hospital marked more than a century of world-class pediatric
care and the 11th birthday
of the NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children’s
Hospital at a Birthday
Bash benefit
dinner on Wednesday, November 12 at The JW
Marriott Essex House in
Manhattan. Among the attendees was Henrik
Lundqvist, goaltender of the New York Rangers and
co-founder of the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation, whose
presence and comments added an extra layer of excitement to
the evening. The event was attended by more than 240 guests
and raised over $500,000 to support the hospital’s pediatric
care programs.
The evening celebrated
a year of extra birthdays made possible by the world-class
pediatric care at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley
Children’s Hospital. Hosted by Dr.
Steven J. Corwin, CEO, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital,
the event honored Alex
and Steven Cohen and
their organization, the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation,
for their continued commitment to the hospital.

it was established as the Babies Hospital in 1887, NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan

facility with critical and neonatal intensive care
