Entertainment at Black Tie Event
NEW YORK (October 27, 2014) – NewYork-Presbyterian
Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College’s annual Cabaret benefit
dinner raised over $3.4 million, a record breaking
amount, to support the institutions’ ongoing work in
patient care, research and medical education. The event,
on Wednesday, October 22, drew 1,000 attendees to the
New York Hilton.
Guests joined event hosts Dr.
Steven J. Corwin, CEO
of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital; Dr.
Laurie H. Glimcher, the Stephen and Suzanne Weiss
Dean of Weill Cornell Medical College; and Dr.
Robert Kelly, president of NewYork-Presbyterian
Hospital, and paid tribute to Barbara
B. Friedman and Peter
S. Kalikow for
their dedication to the medical center.
In addition to dinner and cocktails, guests enjoyed a
special performance by Emmy and Tony award-winning
actress and singer Kristin
Chenoweth.
