An
"Intellectual Salon" highlighting the work of Toldot Yisrael,
with the organization's founder and executive director, Eric
Halivni. This special evening took place on Thursday,
September 18th at 7:00 PM. |

Inspired by Steven Spielberg’s Shoah
Foundation, Toldot Yisrael records and shares video
testimonies of Israel’s founding generation. Toldot Yisrael
has interviewed over 750 people and recorded over 3,000
hours of footage which is used in documentary and
educational films. Its accomplishments were recently
featured on Ulpan Shishi, Israel's flagship news program,
and have been written up in Ha’aretz, the New York Times,
Ma’ariv, the New York Jewish Week, Times of Israel and
others.

Aryeh Halivni (Eric
Weisberg) has worked for Jewish and Israel related
organizations for several years. A native of Cleveland who
made aliyah in 2002, Eric worked as Director of External
Relations at Gesher, an organization dedicated to bridging
the gap between religious and secular in Israel, before
leaving in 2007 to found Toldot Yisrael. |
