This year’s
Hulaween theme, “Hell Night on Hualween Island,” was
inspired by the B Movie Horror films from the 1950s & early
20th century science fiction novels like The Island of Dr.
Moreau and Heart of Darkness. These genres present a number
of philosophical themes, including pain and cruelty, moral
responsibility, human identity, and human interference with
nature. |
