Entertainment at Black Tie Event
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medicine's
annual Cabaret benefit
dinner raised more than $3.5 million, a record amount, to
support the institutions ongoing work in patient care,
research and medical education. The event, which took place
on Thursday, October 8, drew 1,000 attendees to the Park
Avenue Armory.
Guests joined event hosts Dr.
Steven J. Corwin, CEO
of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Dr.
Laurie H. Glimcher, the Stephen and Suzanne Weiss Dean
of Weill Cornell Medicine; and paid tribute to Barbara
and Peter Georgescu and Sandra
and Edward Meyer for
their dedication
to the medical center.
In addition to dinner and cocktails, guests
enjoyed a special performance by Grammy and Academy Award
winning singer and actress Jennifer
Hudson.
