Caron Treatment Centers,
a leading, nationally and internationally recognized
not-for-profit dedicated to addiction and behavioral healthcare
treatment, research, prevention and medical education, recently
raised $1.6 million at its
25th Annual New York Galato
benefit Caron’s financial assistance program.
“Your support makes a difference to Caron,” said
Doug Tieman, president and CEO at Caron Treatment Centers. “Your
support makes a difference to families. By being here tonight,
you are making a difference.”
In addition to fundraising, the gala featured
notable speakers including Caron CEO and President Doug Tieman,
keynote speaker and Caron alum Max Fiedel. Also, in attendance,
were honored individuals Gary T. Giglio of Goldman Sachs, who
was recognized with the Richard J. Caron Award of Excellence as
well as MusiCares Chair Michael McDonald who received the
inaugural Thomas J. Moran Caron Music Award.

am here tonight—that I am alive and thriving, said keynote
speaker and Caron alum Max Fiedel. “It is with the deepest
gratitude that I say thank you.”
The memorable night concluded with a performance by Jon Batiste
and his band, Stay Human.
