On the 175th anniversary of the establishment of the New
York Police department, the World Harmony Foundation (WHF)
and the International Police Foundation (IPF) recently paid
condolences to the New York Police Department and awarded
the 2020 "Outstanding Harmony and Service Award" plaque to
fight at the forefront of the fight against epidemics. And
pays warm condolences, highly respect and Salute to New York
police!
The New York Police Department was established in 1845. For
more than a century, the New York Police has been devoted to
its duty, fighting crime, serving the people, and has become
one of the best police stations in the world. Especially in
this fight against epidemic, the New York Police Thousands
of soldiers were diagnosed, and more than 50 people were
sacrificed for the new coronary pneumonia. We sincerely
thanks to these police officers for their bravery and
continued and selfless dedication to the people of New York.
May 24 is the 175th anniversary of the establishment of the
New York Police Department, which coincides with May 25 is
also the US National Memorial Day (to commemorate the heroes
who died for the country). New York is the hardest city hit
by the epidemic. The police heroes are fighting hardly on
the front line. Yes, they have no time to commemorate this
great anniversary day, no time to gather with their families
and colleagues to celebrate the holiday, no time to mourn
the sacrifice of their robe, their only time is to fight at
the forefront, for social harmony，for
public safety and working very hard without thinking of
themselfs.
Today, the World Harmony Foundation (WHF), an accredited NGO
of UNEP with International Police Foundation (IPF) Jointly
sent condolences and congratulatory letters to NYPD New York
Police Headquarters and Police Commissioner Mr.
Dermot Shea informing
them that
NYPD won the 2020 International "Outstanding Harmony and Service Award",
which was jointly awarded by WHF and IPF.
This is the first time that NYPD has won the honor of a UN
NGO since its establishment in 175 years. WHF and IPF will
invite the commissioner of NYPD to accept the award inside
UN headquarters on the occasion of the mitigation of the
outbreak and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of
the UN
on October 24, 1945
Frank Liu, Chairman of the World Harmony Foundation (WHF)
and CEO of the International Police Foundation (IPF) Richard
Ke told reporters that : “As the people of New York, we must
never forget these heroes! New York's today Prosperity and
development are inseparable from the perseverance of these
police heroes day and night, and we must give them lofty
honors.
Lester Wolff, Honorary Chairman of the World Harmony
Foundation, (also the most senior and longest member of the
US Congress who is 101-year-old, former chairman of the
Congress Asian Affairs Committee, the chairman of the Ask
Congress TV, and the winner of the top Hero Medal by
congress, who has recently been approved by the President
and the two houses in capitol hill to rename his name to
protect Long Island Wild Refuge Park, in Oyster Bay, he is
one of the main creators of the New York Police Department
awards,
He said: These Hero and Soldiers deserve to be
recognized.
The World Harmony Outstanding Contribution Award
has been awarded to

a famous senior member of Congress, Lester Wolff,
Under Sectary General of UN, Mr. Chowdury who is the founder
of
