AS
UJA-FEDERATION OF
NEW YORK'S MUSIC VISIONARIES OF THE YEAR
UJA-Federation of
New York's 2016 Music Visionary of the Year Award Luncheon
was a star-studded event, with Alicia
Keys, Elle
King, Jack
Antonoff, and Baz
Luhrmann on
hand to help celebrate RCA Records Tom Corson, president and
COO, and Peter Edge, chairman and CEO, for their leadership
and philanthropy at work and in the community.
Luhrmann
entertained a crowd of more than 650 music industry
professionals as emcee of the event, which took place on
Thursday, June 16, 2016, at The Pierre in Manhattan, and
King performed her chart topper 'Ex's & Oh's. After calling
Corson and Edge two incredible friends, Keys treated
guests to a performance of ?In Common, and 'If I Ain't Got
You,' which she dedicated to Edge, explaining that when she
first wrote the song for another artist, Edge said there's
no way in hell I'm going to give that song to anyone else."
RCA artists Miley
Cyrus, Justin
Timberlake, P!nk,
and Dave
Grohl made
appearances in a comedic video tribute starring Jack
Antonoff. Before

Visionary of the Year awards, Doug
Morris congratulated

intimate Sony family, we're very proud of you."
