philanthropist,
activist and
author Jean
Shafiroff with
the 2018
Woman of the
Year Award at
the 24th
Annual
Fundraiser
Luncheon on Monday,
August 6th,
2018 at Oceanbleu at
the Bath
& Tennis
Hotel on Dune
Road in Westhampton
Beach.
The 2018
event was
chaired by Elisa
Greenbaum and Linda
Stoll
Pearlman.

philanthropic
efforts and
honors.
After
accepting
the Woman of
the Year
award, Jean
spoke
passionately
about her
ideas on
philanthropy.
She also
shared her
fashion
views as
guests
enjoyed an
avant-elegant
fashion
installation
by Carolina
Herrera New
York.
Guests were
treated to
an exclusive
preview of
Carolina
Herrera’s
gowns and
dresses from
the Fall
2018
collection.
The 24th
Annual Woman
of the Year
Luncheon
included a
cocktail
hour, and a
three-course,
gourmet
kosher lunch
served by Regal
Caterers.
A boutique
of vendors
as well as a
silent
auction and
raffles were
open
throughout
the
luncheon’s
program. The
fundraiser
benefitted
the Hadassah
Medical
Organization,
a diverse
organization
of
healthcare
professionals
and medical
researchers
dedicated to
finding
innovative
solutions to
complex
medical
problems.
Jean
Shafiroff‘s
impact
improves the
lives of
underserved
populations,
women’s
rights and
well-being,
health care,
animal
welfare, and
resources
for children
in need. It
is her
passion for
the land and
people of
Israel that
has brought
her to the
forefront of
the Jewish
community
and to
receive
Hadassah’s
highest
honor.
