Connie Kwan-Wong is an entrepreneur,
pediatric cardiac sonographer, charity columnist and
philanthropist, combining her many endeavors with her
passion for charitable work. She has had the good
fortune to be influenced by several different cultures
on her life's journey. Connie was born in Hong Kong and
resided there until the age of eleven when her parents
moved their family to Australia. |
|
After her
marriage, she moved to the United States, where she
currently lives in Houston, TX. As a result of her
experiences with other cultures, Connie is very comfortable
associating and communicating with people of all cultures
and backgrounds, and truly feels like she is a citizen of
the world. |
|
From the time she
was a young child, Connie was raised to be sincere, to be
honest and to value friendship and family. She was taught to
believe that people should always care about others, and to
help those in need whenever possible. Once she met and
married her husband, Stephen, he further strengthened her
commitment to be grateful and cherish the blessings of life,
spreading those blessings to others wherever possible. |
|
Through her
husband's support and faith in her, she grew to believe that
it was possible to have a positive effect on the world and
to instill the concepts of charity and humanity in her
community and beyond.

Connie has found
a way to combine her two passions in life: beauty and
charity. With her commitment to be a force for positive
change in the world, Connie has put her beliefs
into action.

|
She has created the
CKW Collection of skincare products, and donates part of her
company's sales to charitable organizations. Connie has
established the CKW Foundation to help with her charitable
works, as she strongly believes that "giving is better than
receiving."
|
|
Connie wants to
strongly reinforce the concept that you should "love the
people around you and help the people who need you." The
main purpose ofher foundation is to raise awareness about
the immediate problems and issues facing children in
Houston, and about how best to address these issues. |
