Luncheon benefiting
United Cerebral Palsy of
New York City was held
this afternoon at
Cipriani 42nd
Street. The sold-out
event celebrated the
accomplishments of
extraordinary women as
caregivers, volunteers
and professionals.

Independence,” a
successful new program
which helps families
stay together by
offering help to
transform homes into
places where people
living with disabilities
can live independent
lives.

Goldenson, who

groundbreaking ideas in

Barriers Act. It also
honors Miss Karen Hansen
who took care of my
older sister without
ever taking a vacation,
from age two, all the
