Lucy Jarvis' 95th Birthday Celebration
at the Boathouse in NYC

Lucy Jarvis, the
award winning producer, celebrated her 95th
birthday with a festive hat garden party at The Boathouse in
Central Park on Sunday, June 24th. The
celebration began with Lucy arriving in grand style across
the lake villa gondola flanked by models, Macho Baez and
Benjamin Pena to her cheering guests lining the dock. She
then made her way through the crowd kissing her
granddaughter, Serena and son, Peter. The models brought
Lucy to the center of the dance floor, placed ruby slippers
on her feet and danced signaling that the celebration had
officially begun. The hats were stunning and the crowd
stellar. Among the stars, diplomats and corporate leaders,
Shirley MacLaine and artist, Christo graced the room, Tony
Roberts gave a rousing toast along with Barbara Lee
Diamonstein-Spielvogel and DeDe Bartlett. As Scott
McArthur, who produced the event said, “The weather
cooperated and every detail was perfect from the music
provided by the Hot Club of Hell’s Kitchen, right down to
the lifelike butterflies that adorned the tables. I don’t
how we are going to top it for Lucy’s 100th!”

Club was formed when her son Peter and his friends were 14
years old. Lucy is now an Honorary member of the GENTS Club
as well as the only
female member.
