Couture Council Board Member, Jean Shafiroff and
jewelry designer Fiona Druckenmiller of FD Gallery
invited 25 Couture Council members for a high tea and
champagne reception at Ms. Drunkenmiller’s Upper East Side
showroom on the afternoon October 3, 2012. Guests were
served a special Pink Cartier Champagne while they listened
to a short lecture and viewing of the FD Gallery’s
collection.
Gift bags included a
beautiful fine leather bound memo pad with a silver pen,
plus a small box of Maison du Chocolat sumptuous Caramels.

As a private jewelry
collector, Fiona Druckenmiller could never seem to find one
place that met all her needs; so she created a solution in
FD Gallery. She believes that, at its best, collecting
exquisite pieces is both an emotional and intellectual

The FD collection is one
of exceptional 20th century jewels, comprised of pieces from
the most prestigious houses with a central case dedicated
entirely to Cartier of all periods, icons such as the Tutti
Frutti, the Panther and a Mystery Clock are represented.
Another case is devoted to Van Cleef & Arpels from the
ArtDeco, Retro and 1970s eras, while a third case houses an
exclusive collection from contemporary designers Hemmerle of
Munich and Viren Bhagat of Mumbai.
