Honored philanthropists Lauren
and Andres Santo Domingo
and interior designer Charlotte
Moss.
More than 200 guests from Europe and the U.S. enjoyed
music provided by a roving, beret-wearing accordion
player during the lively cocktail hour.
NBC’s Erica Hill acted
as emcee.
Following a 3-course dinner featuring French cuisine, a live auction
allowed the fashionable crowd to bid for a stunning white
mink fur by Dennis
Basso; a Sidney
Garber diamond
ring; and art by renowned
artist Hunt
Slonem. Artist Daniel
Mark Duffy, who paints movers and shakers and their
pets, donated a commissioned portrait that can immortalize
the winner’s chosen subject(s).
The American Hospital of Paris is
a private,
not-for-profit institution founded over 100 years ago. Its
mission is to bring together the best in French and American
medical practices to Paris for French, Americans and
internationals throughout
Europe and the Middle East.
