James Lenox House and Carnegie East House, New York City’s
premiere not-for-profit independent and enriched living
communities for older adults hosted its annual Autumn Leaves
Gala at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014
at a private club in NYC.
Esteemed New Yorkers Ted Moudis, AIA of Ted Moudis
Associates; New York City Council Member Daniel Garodnick;
and philanthropist William C. Patterson were honored
for their dedication to and advocacy for older adult housing
communities throughout the city.
The Gala raised funds to support the much needed services
and activities at James Lenox House and Carnegie East House
that help their residents maintain the highest quality of
life. These programs include excellent nursing care, social
work staff, specialized exercise and yoga classes, health
and wellness seminars, interfaith chaplaincy, art classes,
computer assistance, robust libraries, regular movies,
musical performances, theater events and trips.
