About Women’s Voices for Change
Women’s Voices for Change was founded in 2005
by women seeking to change the way the culture regarded
menopause and women over 40. Led by Patricia Yarberry Allen,
MD, a gynecologist whose practice focused on the menopausal
transition, the founders conducted listening sessions with
numerous women in this demographic and resolved to represent
the real lives of women in the second half of life. www.womensvoicesforchange.org
