Provided Entertainment at Black Tie Affair
NEW YORK (Oct.
11, 2013) – NewYork-Presbyterian
Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College’s annual Cabaret benefit
dinner raised $3.3 million to support the institutions’
ongoing work in patient care, research and medical
education. The event on Oct. 8 drew nearly 1,000
attendees to the Waldorf Astoria.
Guests joined event hosts Dr.
Steven J. Corwin, CEO
of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital; Dr.
Laurie H. Glimcher, the Stephen and Suzanne Weiss
Dean of Weill Cornell Medical College; and Dr.
Robert Kelly, president of NewYork-Presbyterian
Hospital, and paid tribute to Bob
Appel and Charlotte
Ford for
their dedication to the medical center.
In addition to dinner and cocktails, guests enjoyed a
special performance by renowned musical guests the John
Pizzarelli Quartet with Jessica
Molaskey.
