It's a Wonderful Time of Year

New York City is magical during the holiday season. Beautiful window displays at every corner, the majestic tree at Rockefeller Center, and crowds of happy shoppers on every avenue transforms the city into a picture postcard. And there is no better way to celebrate the season than to have a party in the Big Apple. Certainly, our Christmas event at the Trump Tower International World Bar on December 3 was a special way to welcome the holidays! The event was hosted by the Elite Professional Networking Group, Black Tie International Magazine, Giorgio G Cognac (made by famous designer Giorgio Gucci), Emperors Vodka, Power Team International and the AR-1 Supercar.
Guests arrived early, and by 7:00 pm the place was packed with regular guests, members of the Elite Professionals Networking Group and the Friends of Black Tie International Magazine. Everybody was happy to see their old friends and make new ones. Many attendees exchanged business cards and had their pictures taken together. There was a festive, celebratory atmosphere throughout the evening. Such fun!
Indy Race Car Driver and past National Champion Luca Forgeios was not able to make our event. At the last minute his teammates asked him to go to North Carolina to test some new race cars. He promises we will see him again when he is in New York. He was one of our male models in a recent fashion show. He is a very nice, wonderful kid. I call him a kid because he is only seventeen years old. He started racing when he was only thirteen years old. He won his first championship at the young age of sixteen. So if you want to sponsor him,
now is the time. Let us know.
We were happy to see that Mr. Nick Alessi, the builder and designer of the AR-1 Supercar, was able to attend our holiday gala. As you know AR-1Supercar is a rolling work of art, equally comfortable on the street or race track. Built right here in the USA, the AR-1 redefines automobile power and performance. Utilizing light-weight materials, and old world craftsmanship, the AR-1 is made for the driving enthusiast who wants the very finest automotive experience. The AR-1 Supercar has it all in one distinct package – superb handling, ground-pounding speed, and futuristic styling. The AR-1 is setting the bar higher, much higher for automotive industry.
Our veteran for the month was US Army Lieutenant Colonel David Cole, who served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. Most of Colonel Cole's military career was spent with special forces units, the 7th Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg, the 5th Special Forces Group in Vietnam, and the 10th Special Forces in Germany. He has received various awards for his years of service. We want to thank him and his family for their many sacrifices to our country. If you meet any military personnel and veterans, be sure to thank them for their sacrifices to our country.
Our Entertainment was by Daddy Rocker and his lead guitarist Joseph Ciresi. Daddy Rocker’s real name is Tom Moran but he is more known as Daddy Rocker. He is a country rock artist and a member of the band called Brooklyn South Band. The group often shares a message of recovery in their songs.
Our guests enjoyed his light rock songs.
We had an art exhibit by Oksana Tanasiv, an artist of fashion. She creates fine art using a three-dimensional format with fabric and Swarovski Crystals. Some of her fashion art is formed with thousands of crystals. This technique makes Oksana's art unique and sought after by collectors and fashion enthusiasts worldwide. Our guests enjoyed looking at her paintings with Swarovski Crystals glittering in the dark. All her paintings are for sale - just let us know if you are interested with any of her pieces.
We also had our Silent Auctions for the Hurricane Sandy's Fund. The items were donated by: famous football player Vince & Janet Papale (profiled in the movie "Invincible" and staring Mark Walhberg), Andrea Spring of Blue Star Jets, David Kogut of Northeast Venture Group, Kenneth McClure of Hospitality Holdings, Trump Tower International World Bar, the UPS Store in the Chrysler Building, the New York Yankees, Niche Imports, Wine World Wide Inc., Bridge Brand Sales, Donna Scott Spa, German Baroness Marion Von Buchard, artist Oksana Tanasiv, Barry Brown Studios, Vivian Salazar of Spreading Love Through Touch and many more. Thank you for all the people who donated the products for the silent auction and to the guest that participated in the silent auctions. We will continue the auction as part of our next event.
