                                                 A Midsummer Night’s Celebration

 

 

Our Midsummer Night’s Celebration at the Trump Tower International Bar was a another smashing success.  The event was hosted by the Elite Professional Networking Group, and co-hosted by Black Tie International Magazine, Giorgio G Cognac (by famous Designer Giorgio Gucci), Emperors Vodka, and
 the AR-1Supercar.

 

We had a full house and the party went on into the wee hours of the morning – now that’s a real mid-summer night dream!  It is great to see so many people having fun.   Our ‘regulars’ were in attendance, as well as some special VIP personalities.   The award winning producer, director and writer Dean Love ( Life in Mars, Queen Elizabeth I - The Virgin Queen) stopped by, as well as producer "Graig Weich is an award winning movie director (Winner of the NY Int'l Independent Film Festival) and owns a multi-media comic book and movie company. Graig has appeared in The Dark Knight Rises movie working with Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan and has been in talks with Tom Cruise. " Our guests exchanged not only business cards but views and ideas.  And many of our guests promised to get together in the future continue their conversations.  It is gratifying to have so many people thank me for inviting them to our event!  So many of our guests appreciate the opportunity to meet interesting people from different countries, backgrounds, and fields of work.

 

Our July event was made extra special by the young, beautiful and effervescent cast of Realtydance.net. This television show is based on the long-running American Bandstand  hosted by the late Dick Clark. Executive Director Antonette Conville, along with the actors and actresses of the show, gave our evening a dance-club atmosphere.   
 Realtydance.net is already showing on NBC in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and soon it will be aired on NBC in New York City.

 

Also, the Realitydance.net’s cast and crew were recently at East Wind in Wading River, Long Island, New York for a filming of an upcoming show. The AR-1 Supercar was featured in a number of songs and dance routines during the taping.  The young actresses and actors performed several routines from the movie Grease. The filming was accomplished in a crisp, professional and timely manner under the professional supervision of producer Wesley Brown and his assistant Jaquel Cornelues.  Please check back with us for the schedule

The evening’s entertainer was Carla Virola.  She is a Latina singer/songwriter/pianist who's diverse background in music gives her music a unique sound. Carla Virola is the next Latin pop diva to dominate the airwaves. She composes, sings and performs her own original music - which is infectious! Her single "Timbalero" was featured on the Latin Billboard CD sampler and she has opened up for such notable acts as Tommy Boy, a Warner Record artist,  Amber,  and Interscope Records’ rap artist Jada Kiss.  Carla is also an actress and has had walk on roles on "SNL", and has appeared as a lead actress in several New York regional commercials.  Carla's wowed the guests with her original music and explosive dynamic performance.  “You go, girl”  - you are great.

 

Our honored veteran was Army Sergeant Jungwon Yun.  She served in the U.S Army for eight years, two years as active duty as combat medical paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, and six years in the Army Reserve. Jungwon was deployed in Iraq with 680 Engineering Company in 2007 and returned in 2008.  She was trained and qualified to be an EMT and CPR specialist and traveled outside the military base with combat engineering soldiers to provide medical care.  As a medical specialist, her duty was to provide medical service to soldiers who were injured during combat outside of the base.   Let’s thank Jungwon Yun for her service and sacrifice to our beloved country.

 

Let’s always keep in mind that thousands and thousands of our service men and women make tremendous sacrifices to protect our freedom. We are fortunate to have so many highly skilled and unselfish individuals willing to stand in harms way so we can enjoy the richness of life in our country. We always support our Veterans. As in the past, we invite veterans to our celebrations in order to say “thank you.” A special thanks goes out to Tony Ntnelas of the Wounded Warrior Projects for helping to coordinating this portion of the evening.

Once again, thanks to Kenneth McClure, the general manager of the Trump Tower International World Bar. Mr. McClure and his staff did another outstanding job for us and we say “Well Done.” They served both wonderful food and drinks.  Ken is also the vice-president of Hospitality Holdings, a company that operates eight different lounges and restaurants, including The Empire Room at the Empire State Building. The Empire Room is “the place” for afternoon cocktails and a wonderful site
 for your next special event.
