A Day In The Life of Michelle-Marie

Rock Climbing
My son Hudson, is an avid rock climber, and
this weekend I took him and two of his friends Rock climbing
in Ulster County. As we approached the free standing
man-made rock I said to the boys how tall I thought this
particular rock was. They said it was
ONLY 50 feet tall.
Here they go....
These boys are 7, but spoke with the
authority and knowledge of a world class expert. So they
told me one of the tallest is in the Netherlands and is 121
feet tall.
Onward and Upward....
Almost at the top!!
Victory!!! 50 feet at the top.
I quickly looked it up and it is indeed the
tallest. It is called
The Excaliber Tower, and located in the town of Gronigen,
in Holland.

Charles asked if I would take them there over
Christmas Holiday.
I had to laugh, because I am sure at this rate we will be
heading to the Netherlands in the near future.
There is an amazing indoor rock climbing
facility in downtown
New Rochelle. It is called The Rock Club,

They have 80 climbing stations with varying degrees of difficulty. It
really is a must for the family, and the staff is wonderful.
Well done Hudson, Blake and Charles....
the best little Rock Climbers I know!!
Until next time...xoxo...Michelle-Marie
