Yes, it was another fabulous, fabulous event. On Monday, May 20th we celebrated the warmer weather and longer days with a fun-filled party. As you know, the Big Apple is awash in blooming flower beds, and the rich colors and fragrances make everyone smile. Our regular attendees were happy to see each other and welcomed a host of new guests.

Our celebration was hosted by Elite Professional Networking Group, Black Tie International Magazine, Power Team International, Giorgio G Cognac (by fashion designer Giorgio GUCCI), Emperors Brand and the AR-1Supercar. We gathered at the always popular, always friendly Trump Tower International World Bar.

Our Celebrity Guest was Jackie Salas - Jackie is an internationally renowned celebrity chef, based in Miami, with sixteen years of experience in professional designing and decorating cakes. Chef Jackie has been a special guest on networks such as Univision, NBC, Telemundo, and MTV. She has worked with stars such as Pitbull, Pedro Fernandez, Lily Estefan, Emilio Estefan, soccer legends Bebeto El Pive Balderrama, Mauricio Balboa y Iguaran de Columbia, Jose Feliciano, Neida Sandoval and more. She was a big, big hit with our guests at our May event - Jackie and her business partner, Raiza Perrault, prepared sumptuous vegetarian dishes and delicious truffles chocolates, which is one of my favorites.

And once again award winning producer, director and writer Dean Love of Dean Love Films LLC was on hand. So was Latin celebrity, coach and speaker Karen Hoyos. Also attending was Rita Cosby - the host and special correspondent for CBS television and radio. Rita was accompanied by two U.S. military veterans, Master Sgt. Chet Marcus – who served 29 years in service including Iraq and Saudi Arabia, and Peter J. LeBeau who served in Vietnam. And he has been a Captain of the New York Guard since 2005. We thank them both and also our other brave men and women for their service to our country.

Our Entertainment for the Night was Shana Sharp. Shana is often compared to Shara Bareilles and Alanis Morissette. She has been called the "Southern Adele" with her alternative pop sound blended with a bit of country and soulful vocals. Raised in Montgomery, Alabama, she developed an affinity for lyrical songwriting and vocals. Shanna performed at popular NYC venues such as Bowery Electric, Roseland Ballroom, Crash Mansion, and the Bitter End and had toured throughout Europe. She is currently promoting her fourth album Silver Linings Under Grey, in which was released last April. The guests enjoyed her lively performance.
