It was another fabulous Annual Platinum Red Carpet Event!
On Tuesday, October 22 we had an evening filled with fashion shows, awards, keynote speakers, great singers, a talented composer and piano player, and of course, the AR-1Supercar. While rain was predicted, the weather cooperated with us and we had a beautiful night.
Our celebration was produced and hosted by yours truly, Gloria T. Cressler, CEO and founder of Elite Professional Networking Group. Helping in the production of this event were: and Black Tie International Magazine, Power Team International, Giorgio G Cognac (by fashion designer Giorgio Gucci), Emperors Brand and AR-1 Supercar.
Our event was held at the beautiful Rooftop of the world famous Copacabana. The Rooftop is a beautiful venue, surrounded by glass walls and a retractable ceiling. Our guests simply love this site. The owner of the Copacabana, Mr. John Juliano, was joined with his general manager Glee Ballart and Romana Saur , to greet our guests and make every aspect of the evening wonderful.
Everybody's has been waiting for this special event! We took a break for the summer, but we are back! Attendees were happy to get together with old friends and meet new ones. And what a fabulous great event! All the beautiful people came out. Women wore with beautiful evening gowns and cocktail dresses, and the men sported their black tie and business suits. We had a great mix of power players: business executives and Presidents & CEO's of Fortune 500 companies, award winning movie producers, royals, diplomats, singers, sports agents, and a lots of models.
Our guest list included: Consul General of Cyprus Koala Sophianou, a lovely lady, award winning producer, writer and director Dean Love of Life in Mars, The Virgin Queen - Queen Elizabeth I and many other movies. The evening began with an award to Rita Cosby, the renowned Emmy Award winning TV host, veteran correspondent and best selling author. Rita has anchored highly rated primetime shows on both Fox News Channel and MSNBC. She is currently a special correspondent for the top-rated CBS newsmagazine Inside Edition and hosts WOR’s acclaimed radio program, The Rita Cosby Show. She’s been interviewed and profiled by hundreds of media outlets across America and overseas. Rita was selected by Cosmopolitan Magazine as a “Fun and Fearless Female.” Because of her “extraordinary journalism,” October 11th, 2010 was officially named “Rita Cosby Day” in the State of New York.
A surprise award recipient at our event was for master calligrapher Professor Li Goudong. He received an award for using his calligraphy to build friendship among people throughout the world. He has studied calligraphy for 65 years, and is a recognized leader of international calligraphy.
Our speakers were Bill Walsh and Karen Hoyos.
Bill Walsh is the CEO and founder of Power Team International. He speaks all over the world. His passion is to empower entrepreneurs and business owners to experience success. He is popularly known as America’s Business Expert. Each year he co-hosts our Annual Platinum Red Carpet Event. And once again he gave away two free door prizes for his unique seminar called Ultimate Success Camp, including hotel suites in Las Vegas. The seminar is worth $5000, is being held on Dec. 8 -10. Our first fashion show was by designer Yi Ling. She started with men jackets made of silk, and they were modeled by our executives friends, and singers -Richard Alan, owner of Richard Alan Management and co-owner of Alex Ross Modeling Agency, Dr. Gilbert Ambriz, Bill Lanndis actor/movie director and composer, and pilot Captain Billy Hock, and pop singer Dan Godlin. On the female side, our soprano singer Victoria Miningham joined our super models.
The second fashion show was by designer Isabel Lopez of Boston, who says, "Be sexy, be beautiful, be original.” Isabel makes original international fashion designs. She is influenced by designers Versace and Cavalle. Her designs have been featured in several beauty pageants both in NYC and Boston. She produces two of her own fashion shows every year at the Boston Fashion Week, as well at the Boston Fashion Awards, and Rock the Runway, a benefit for the American Cancer Society. Her fashion show at the Rooftop was a smashing success with her original designs - especially the black lace evening gown worn by super model Angelina Shipilina, and the yellow evening gown worn by super model Denise Dietrichs. And, she also launched her original designs in handbags and jewelries.

German born actress/model Denise Dietrichs is a Top 20 in Victoria Secret’s Angel Tour Winner of ELLE MAGAZINE MODEL. She was featured in the Leonardo DeCaprio movie titled: "The Wolf at Wall Street."
Angelina Shipilina was born in Russia, and won the title of Miss Diaspora International. Angelina works with Piaget, Escada, Max Mara, Donna Karan and many major fashion houses. She has appeared on Broadway and has had roles alongside Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson. Angelina has been on television shows like Law & Order, White Collar, Blue Blood and Life in March

Reminiscent of a long-stemmed American Beauty Rose, Victoria Miningham, is a soprano who sings in opera productions in New York City and Roma, and has given concerts as far away as China. Victoria has recently performed Violetta in La Traviatta and is currently preparing Mimi for La Boheme. Our guests admired her voice. My German baroness friend, Marion Von Buchard, observed that Victoria has a beautiful voice for a very young age. Victoria was accompanied by Siyi Fang, who has performed at the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Weill Recital Hall, and Lincoln Center. She also received multiple fellowships including the Aspen Music Festival in Colorado and the Fontaineblue Music Festival in Colorado.
NYC based pop singer-songwriter Dan Godlin released his first full-length album, Loving on Empty, in 2012 and an EP, In Between, in 2013. His music has been featured on E! Channel's "Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” MTV's "The Challenge: Rivals II,” and American Airlines' "Hitlist.” Godlin performed at the MUSEXPO showcase in Hollywood and has shared the stage with such acts as Howie Day, Ryan Cabrera and Tyler Hilton. Since our guests consist of different age groups, so feature a wide range of entertainment. He is represented by Beatrice Bugnosen of Effective Immediately Public Relations.
We had a special appearance by Billy Hock, a talented composer and songwriter. He flew all the way from Chicago to entertain our guests. He entertained us with his own music, as well as other popular songs. Billy Hock is also airline captain with United Express/Delta Connection. His music is superb. You feel like you are in heaven when you are listening to his music. He is really good.
And the event would not be complete without the world's newest exotic sport car the AR-1 SUPERCAR
This is a half-million dollar luxury race car with a limited production of only fifty vehicles worldwide. With 750 horsepower and a twin turbo engine this rolling work of art is “faster and more furious” than any car you have ever seen… or heard! And Nick Alessi – the artist, designer and builder of the AR-1 was on hand to have pictures taken with the models, celebrities and VIP'S. Since the car was displayed outside the Copacabana, there were crowds of admirers surrounding the AR-1 Supercar.
