Our Costume Event was another
fabulous and a fun, fun evening. As always, many of
our treasured friends and new friends came to
celebrate with us, all dressed to the hilt in
beautiful costumes. Everyone was happy to see one
another again after our long summer breaks. So
it was a very special reunion with our regulars and
new guests. And everyone was so busy and involved
networking with very exciting, interesting, and VIP
guests. It was hard to try to separate them to
socialize during the entertainment program.
Many came with new guests that evening including
our members and friends of Elite Professional
Networking Group (EPNG), and friends of Black Tie
International Magazine. This was such an exceptional
night we had so many guests that the place was
packed full, again.
The venue was held again at The World
Bar at Trump Tower World International by the United
Nations and produced by Gloria T. Cressler,
CEO/Founder of Elite Professional Networking Group
and International Correspondent, and Host of Black
Tie International Magazine & TV, and co-hosted by
Black Tie International Magazine, Power Team
International, Giorgio G. Cognac (by famous designer
Giorgio GUCCI), and Emperors Vodka, International
Wine Master and Global Fine Wines & Food
Connection.
The Judges for our best costumes were Sabina
Klimek, The Trade Commissioner of Poland, Frantisek
Bosko Head of Administrative Section of the
Permanent Mission of the Slovak Republic to the
United Nations, German Baroness Marion Von Buchard,
Christine Sherbert, Senior Vice President Power Team
International, Gerard McKeon Publisher of Black Tie
International Magazine, Diane McGraw, President &
Executive Producer, McGraw Productions (McGraw like
singer actor Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill), Sandy
Jacolow, Chief Information Officer, Silverstein
Properties, Inc. (which includes the World Trade
Center and World Towers), and European Super Model
Angelina Shipilina. All our guests were happy to
meet and socialize with our VIP Judges and have
their pictures taken with them.
Here is the list of the winners: 3rd
prize went to Price Galina Saucedo who dressed as
Queen Victoria, 2nd prize was Elna Izabela Naszawa
who dressed as Jane Austen, and the first prize and
grand prize winner of 5 nights and 4 days in Cancun
Resort for 4 people was Super Model, Todd Elkins and
his girlfriend Gina
McCarthy. Todd was dressed like a gentleman
from the Roaring 20's and his girlfriend was
dressed in a red Jane
Austen Era outfit.
And one of the judges Super Model Angelina Shipilina
was dressed in a beautiful outfit with her crown,
who had just won several beauty contests a week
before our event, she was the winner of Vice Miss
Russian Universe, and Miss Queen Jewelry AMN New
York. It was truly a fun, fun, event where everyone
had such a wonderful time.
Our Guest Speaker was Dr. Margie
Todd. Margie,
a retired technology executive with over twenty
(20+) years in the computer security field, has been
featured on television as an SQL expert, and in
multiple magazine articles. Margie is also a
published author in the field of her expertise:
information security. She completed her
undergraduate work at the University of Connecticut
and post graduate work at Capella University, while
employed full time, and going through a 12 year long
two-time battle with cancer. She is a thriving
cancer survivor and dedicates her time to mentoring
women seeking to advance in the field of technology.
She delivers a powerful message for both
self-perseverance and empowerment. The guests gave
her a good applause when she mentioned that she had
survived twice the battle of cancer. She surely
impressed and inspired our guests.
Entertainment was given by Ada Pasternak. Ada
was born in Russia, and had immigrated to the States
at the age of 6, when she began her classical
training on the violin. Upon auditioning for the
prestigious Berklee College of Music she was awarded
a full scholarship, and it was the environment and
experiences there, that inspired her to discover her
ability and passion for songwriting. Ada is a violin
virtuoso who created her own unique genre, combining
her vocal talents, violin mastery and songwriting
prowess for an outstanding pop melding. Her shows
are always a spectacular display of musicianship by
Ada and her band of Berklee College of Music
graduates. Both
she and her accompaniment Kurt Thum are both great
entertainers, they put a real strong shows, and they
also look very good with their outfits that evening.
Ada with her beautiful voice and her expertise in
playing her violin make the entertainment really
great. Kurt Thum is a Brooklyn-based professional
pianist and keyboard player, and has performed and
recorded with a variety of artists crossing many
genres, both locally and nationally. They
are represented by Beatrice Bugnosen of The Outlet
Music P. R.
We have 3 Birthday Celebrants that
night and opera
singer Paula Oleska was singing
happy Birthday to the birthday celebrants from
Christopher Hovenkamp with McGraw Productions, Model
Rachel T. of Richard Alan Management and Chi Lu of
Power Team International with there birthday cake.
Everybody join in to sing
the happy birthday also to the 3 celebrant.
ART EXHIBITIONS: INDORATO&
SILVA
ARTIST: Michael Indorato is
a gifted artist, who is a self-taught painter
with areal zeal for harnessing his inner emotional
states to create incredibly deep personal works of
art. He became aware of his ability to create
beautiful art at an early age and has been actively
pursuing his life's vision of becoming a world

ARTIST: Juan Fernando SILVA
Dubbed as the Modern Van Gogh, born in Buenos Aires
and had lived in Hamburg Germany, and now resides in
New York City. He is a self-taught artist, who
draws inspiration from the impressionist styles of
Van Gogh, as well as that of contemporary artists
and vibrancy of New York and Germany. His colors and
constructs reveal a relevance and passion for each
subject portrayed with elegant simplicity of New
York's everyday life through the eyes of a modern
day impressionist. In his search for fulfillment
Silva captures the fragile, elusive motion of a city
which is both alive and
historic.
Both Michael and Fernando put on a very good show
