A Day in the Life of Michelle-Marie Heinemann
March 24, 2014
Recently my dear friends, Donna and Richard
Soloway hosted a beautiful evening
for a group of friends. We were all invited to see "The
Little Flower" which stars
Tony Lo Bianco, and only him as it is a one man show.

The show is set in the 1945 City Hall office
of Fiorello H. La Guardia,
during his final day as three-term mayor of New York City.

The little Flower gives a historic look into
the life and career of Mayor La Guardia -
a courageous and
flamboyant personality, who read comics to the children
during
a newspaper strike, fought against corruption and
cleaned up city politics,
setting a new standard for
politicians in America.
The set of "The Little Flower"
The show flashes between "present-day" 1945
and back to significant moments in
La Guardia's life,
memories both triumphant and tragic. The colorful La Guardia
guides us through the first half of the American 20th
century, showing us how he
not only lived through these
troubled times, but shaped them.
Tony gave a stellar performance embracing his
character completely....
and he is not afraid to share his thoughts or beliefs, as he
wrote the entire play.
I was completely impressed, he is a true actor of the highest caliber.
After the performance our gracious hostess
Donna had organized a lovely dinner
at a quaint neighborhood restaurant on the upper east side. The food was
superb
and sat cozily side by side discussing the performance.
A Wonderful night
together.....
A most beautiful evening....love you lots
Donna & Richard.
Until Next Time.......xoxo....Michelle-Marie
Heinemann
