ST. PATRICK’S DAY CELEBRATION IS THE REAL LUCK OF THE IRISH

My recollection of my past events in New York City, this was
the first time we actually had to reschedule the date. Since
putting on events we have never canceled or postponed any of
them, even during the winter, even when it rained or snowed
during the entire week. We were fortunate that on the day of
those events either the rain or snow always stopped. The
date we chose and scheduled to have our celebration was the
only day that a snow storm was predicted. So I had to rush
to reschedule and change the new date with less than a week
to promote it. Honestly, I never had worked so hard in my
life with such a short time frame to make it all come
together.
Although I do remember an exception, it was the time I
worked on 2 events for the famous designer GIORGIO GUCCI,
also time consuming planning, preparation and marketing with
only 2 hours of sleep a night for 3 weeks - it was
exhausting. The 2 events held for him was in 2 consecutive
days; the first day was held at the Trump World Tower World
Bar (where we usually have our monthly events) for the
International Ambassadors and their wives. The second day
was at the Pier Hotel with 1,000 guests, many VIP's and
Celebrities and members of the PRESS. All were gathered
there to meet and cover Fashion Icon GIORGIO GUCCI – many
came because this was the only time that they could meet
GUCCI. He had only been to the US twice. The reason is that
GUCCI does not like flying when we discovered he was in the
States once when he was young. So this was only his second
visit and most likely the last one due to age, he is 87 now.
It was a lot of work but I thoroughly enjoyed working with
GUCCI because he is very nice and a classy gentleman. Also,
I enjoyed working with Zina Mashin, his partner of GIORGIO G
COGNAC who is a lovely lady and the President of Emperors
Brand who imports exclusively GIORGIO G COGNAC (by Giorgio
GUCCI), and Emperors Vodka – all these liquors are superb.
Let’s get back to the event… I got sidetracked, but I do
love talking about GUCCI who is such a wonderful man.
Our St. Patrick's Day celebration was another fabulous
night, truly THE REAL LUCK OF THE IRISH in spite of the
short preparations, droves of guests came. It was another
full house packed with hardly a place to move. What was
unique was that our guests came from different professional
backgrounds and countries so everyone had worthwhile,
interesting and fun conversations. As per the usual our
guests were all happy to see each other again, these events
becoming ritual gatherings every month. The delay due to the
snow did not bother anyone, in fact we had more people there
to support us (this included many of our regular friends and
new ones) and our guests also brought their friends.
Thank you! I appreciate you all, my toast to all our great
friends for their monthly support. Especially I honor our
members from Elite Professional Networking Group (EPNG) and
friends of Black Tie International Magazine. Our guests
always have such a fabulous time!
Once again our event was attended by our beautiful, charming
and well accomplished ladies starting off with Sabina Klimek,
Trade Commissioner of Poland, Judit Czako,
Trade Commissioner of Hungary, My International Models
European Super Model, Beauty Queen, and Actress Angelina
Shipilina, and European Super Models: Liga Freimane, Elena
Konovalova and Mary Tavarez. The guests were all happy with
the presence of these lovely ladies. Richard Alan of Richard
Alan Management also brought his models, Bianca Dev and
Monica Mangano. We also have models from Images Model &
Talent Management Karina Gavalcinova and Dawn Sobolewski.
Also there was the German Baroness, Marion Von Buchard,
Gerald McKeon Publisher of Black Tie International Magazine,
Agnieszka Krogulec, PMP President PMI POLAND CHAPTER and
many more guests that we will mention later.
Our event started off with a group picture for the Magazine
"Black Tie International Magazine”. Next came the
introduction of the VIP Guests, then we started our
entertainment with the Singer for the Month: Estere Diva
because it was St. Patrick’s Day. Estere prepared several
well-known Irish Ballads. Before we started singing we
called upon our own Irish guy: Gerard Mckeon, Publisher of
Black Tie International Magazine to join us, and Bill
Lanndis, and Chris Silva who will be our next entertainment
on April 25. We began singing When Irish Is Smiling
and Danny Boy and all our guests participated. We do
this every year, becoming a tradition and everyone loves
this moment where afterwards Estere sings Italian songs with
her truly magical voice.
ENTERTAINMENT BY: OPERA SINGER ESTERE DIVA
Estere is an International Concert Vocalist who performs in
Concerts throughout the USA and Europe. She also performs at
private parties, Fundraisers, Corporate Events and Fashion
shows. Estere and her group won the "EUROVISION" FESTIVAL
when it was held in Paris. Eurovison Festival has
contestants from all over Europe and Israel. It is a very
big deal in that part of the world.
ESTERE began her career as a Pop and Jazz singer, and later
developed her love and passion for the classics, thus began
her extensive Opera training and coaching. Today her
repertoire includes music by Puccini, Verdi, Catalani,
Bellini, and Lehar. Her successful debut in CARNEGIE HALL on
November 22, 2009 led to a second concert at this impressive
Hall on November 14, 2010 with the operatic male group “Dolcissimo”,
as well as a TV show on Channel 56MNN aired in NY, CT, CA,
and Boston, MA.
The evening lasted again way past midnight, now a constant
for our guests all having such fun talking and networking.
So, when I and my group left at midnight we still had guests
left behind enjoying themselves. We congratulate our lucky
guests who won the door prizes. Our lucky winner for the 5
